Congress Fund Berlin
The Berlin Congress Fund is an initiative to promote the event industry in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Especially for larger scientific congresses, such as the ones organized by CPO, hybrid event formats will remain highly relevant, and require a greater effort when planning. In addition to expanding the virtual offering, a suitable hygiene concept must be developed. All this requires more time and money.

In order to reduce the uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, a financial subsidy of max. €60.00 per attendee is provided on a daily basis. This applies to in person as well as hybrid events. The subsidy consists of three components:
- a basic subsidy (€25.00),
- a hybrid surcharge (€10.00) and
- a supplementary sustainability grant (€25.00).
The Congress Fund is aimed at event planners who wish to host their trade event in Berlin by September 30th, 2022. The application process is straightforward and applications can be conveniently submitted online.
